Circular Blanket Pattern
This pattern was given to me by my husband's aunt. I don't know if she created it herself or not. I just want to give her the credit for this fun and easy pattern.
Knitting Pattern for a Circular Blanket
Cast on 60 stitches or amount needed to obtain desired size.
Knit the first row. Turn and knit two stitches. Place a marker and knit to the outside edge. Turn and knit to the marker. Remove marker and slip the next stitch to the right needle as if to purl. Bring the yarn between the needles to the front and put the slipped stitch back on the left needle. Turn and knit two stitches, place the marker back on and knit to the outside edge.
Repeat until no stitches are left. When you are finished with a triangle, switch yarn colors and repeat the same pattern starting with knitting the first row.
It takes 12 triangles to complete the circle. Sew ends together and sew up the center hole. Single crochet around the edge and add any additional stitches you want. The border can be as flat or as ruffled as you want.
